A little about me.
Growing up in a Yemeni family, honey was woven into our everyday lives. But as I grew older, I became curious about what made it so special beyond its reputation, authenticity and sweetness.
That curiosity led me to the world of honey sensory analysis, where I discovered an extraordinary diversity of flavours, aromas, botanical origins and traditions. Honey can be floral, fruity, woody, smoky or even bitter, with each variety revealing something about the flowers, landscapes and places it comes from.
I went on to become a certified honey sommelier and the first Yemeni to be registered with the Italian National Register of Experts in the Sensory Analysis of Honey.
Along the way, I became a partner and creative director at Moj Honey, a brand dedicated to celebrating the quality and diversity of Yemeni honey.
Today, I bring together my heritage, expertise and creativity to change the way people experience honey.
Through tastings, sensory experiences, talks and creative collaborations, I invite people to look beyond sweetness, discover unexpected possibilities and experience honey in entirely new ways.
